2023 Alison's Allies Team

The Alison's Allies team 2023 walk was on October 7, 2022. Our t-shirts focused on the team's goal:  Alison's Allies  - Spreading HOPE through Screening-Care-Research. 

The 2023 Alison’s Allies fundraising was an immense success! Support came from walkers, helpers, t-shirt sponsor (Parker State Farm), benefactor (Pumpkin Run), incentive contributors (Garmin, KC Current, Shop Beautiful, absorb-lumen), and 200+ financial donors! 

The 2023 Alison’s Allies goal was $15,000 to support KU Cancer Center breast cancer researcher Dr. Priyanka Sharma & Dr. Shane Stecklein whose research project focuses on the highly aggressive triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). Because of donor generosity, we SURPASSED our goal, raising $30,000! This allowed us to increase our donation to the 2023 project, as well as to provide an additional $5,000 for the 2022 and 2021 project.  The 2023 project is further outlined under the Annual Projects/2023 tab and the donations are further outlined under the Donors & Supporters/2023 tab.
